Course Description
|
This course introduces the basics infrastructure of the Internet. It also gives the necessary skills to implement and use Internet applications.
|

Course Contents
|
§ Internet history.
§ Internet infrastructure and technologies.
§ How internet works and how to connect local networks and personal computers with the internet.
§ Execute and improve internet server (Apache and ISE).
§ Dynamic and static sites.
§ Internet programming languages and web services.
§ Designing and publishing internet WebPages using (ASP, EJB, CGI).
§ Building internet applications related to database and file systems.
§ Design user friendly interfaces when developing internet applications.

Course Outcomes
|
Upon finishing this course, the student should:
§ Know and use networks protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMPT, POP, IMAP, TCP/IP, and LDAP).
§ Design internet Web pages using the proper and correct designing rules and suitable formulas and methods.
§ Develop dynamic internet WebPages using internet programming languages.
§ Build and apply internet for (server/client).
§ Understand internet web pages / applications and how it affects on the performance speed and efficiency.
