The Student Ahmad Al-Bishri presented a seminar about “Cloud Computing” in Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Rabigh on Saturday 7/5/2011 at 12:00 noon.
The dean, faculty members, and the students attended the seminar. Following is the brief of the seminar:
Cloud computing is an internet technology that allows many businesses and users to use the data and applications without the installation of software on the computers.
Users and businesses can access the information and files at any computer system having an internet connection. The most simple and understandable example of cloud application are Gmail and Hotmail applications.
In this presentation the key features of cloud computing will be presented. The benefits and challenges of the cloud computing will also be discussed.
